A day o’ darkness
Clouds in the sky
Amid the blackness
You heave a sigh.

A burst o’ sunshine
Out o’ the blue
A presence divine
And just for you.

A day o’ hard rain
Mud in the eye
And out o’ the pain
I hear your cry.

A bit o’ sun bright
And I’ve a clue
Tis dawn o’ delight
Bloomin’ anew.
