Amid a cornucopia o’ color
We fall into a state o’ giving
Thanks for the hard earned dollar
That assigns our status o’ living.

Content in tradition ‘n’ culture
We prepare as we fret ‘n’ we fuss
To focus on the bounty o’ nature
Spread upon the table before us.

Family ‘n’ friends in plenitude
Join hand ‘n’ heart with one another
Bound together in gratitude
On this autumn day like no other.

Amid a cornucopia o’ color
We fall into a state o’ giving
Thanks for being greater ‘n’ taller
Than merely our state o’ being.
