He Is Risen!

As a child, nearly every year,
Mom would take us all up Mt. Pleasant for Easter.
In 2000, I relived that childhood memory with relatives.
As the sun rose above the mountain and the
Pastor began to speak, this is the photo I took.
And these were the words in my heart.
I had the God given opportunity to share this trip with
my husband Larry, my Uncle Bill & Aunt Helen,
My brother Randy and his son Robert,
and my sister Rhonda with her children, Timmy & Tiffany.
What a glorious gift indeed!

Sunny Angel

One summer day a storm was approaching.
I looked outside & saw the most beautiful cloud formation.
And, of course, I just had to take a picture!
It was glorious...all those black & blue puffy clouds...
...and a burst o' sunshine behind them all!

When I saw the page set TiggHeart created for the pic,
I knew instantly what I would write and why.
I know a very special angel.
She gives of herself & her time to many in need of cheer.
I'm fortunate to have Cheri as my friend.

This is the most glorious sunset!
Larry & I both saw our Lord at work here in the sky.
May we never forget!

Actually, this is my husband, Larry & my nephew, Timmy.
After services we had to make the trek down the mount.
Most of us took the long way, but Larry & Timmy took a few
Shortcuts thru the side o' the mountain & were out in front.
Glancing ahead I saw this twosome & had to snap a quick pic.

Here it is Fathers Day weekend 2002...
...and it's a perfect pic for a page set!

hidden amid the boulders and the dunes.
