A cloud o’ whiteness
On a cold winter day
Hangs o’er the trees
Holdin’ warmth at bay.
A walk in the forest
And to my surprise
A ray o’ sunshine
Is startlin’ my eyes.
I stroll to a clearin’
Amid all the green
The glow in the sky
Is sure unforeseen.
It does a soul good
To see the sun beamin’
Now I continue my walk
Do a bit o’ day dreamin’.
It shan’t be long now
The iciness shall melt
With a ray o’ sunshine
The weald’s winter pelt.
Midst a cloud o’ white
On a chilly afternoon
I dance among the trees
To a heartwarmin' tune.
