This is your time, enjoy it
Fill each day just as you choose
You've more than put your time in
Working and paying your dues.

You can spend more time at home
Relaxing in your own place
No longer tied to the ho-hum
Of being in the rat race.

Surely given your druthers
You'll have more moments with friends
Enjoying things together
Catching up on current trends.

Family will love the thought
Of finding you now at home
Sharing a time to visit
Amid the places you roam.

In service to some others
Work is now to volunteer
And doing things you've put off
Throughout the job filled year.

Now busier than ever
You may want to take a snooze
This is your time, enjoy it
Fill each day just as you choose.
