As a bit o’ winter white
Blows in on me this night
I think o’ seasons past
And feel a warmth cast
Upon me like no other
O’er a friendship now shared with another.

As a cool winter breeze
Whispers amid the trees
I ponder many a night
And passion in the moonlight
Wells up from my soul
O’er a friendship that makes me whole.

As the snowfall covers
And iciness hovers
I recall a time years ago
And you I didn’t know
Now I thank the stars above
O’er a friendship teeming with love.

As a bit o’ winter white
Dazzles me with delight
I reflect on all we share
And consider the care
With which the ties are bound
O’er the friendship together we've found.
