In memory of Veronica McCary, "gone home."
June 16, 1909 ~ February , 1996

My Grandma was so happy on my wedding day,
and even though she had been very sick and in the hospital
a few weeks before, she still managed to come 3 hours to be with me.
I was her first grandchild, and she always considered me her "favorite"
and didn't care who knew! But then again, she really didn't treat
any of her family like they were any more or less special than the others.
That woman had a heart the size of Texas, and she made everyone
in her life feel like they were "the special one". I spent a lot of time
with her when I was little, and even lived with her for a
couple of years when I was in high school. She was the sweetest, kindest,
most caring person that I have even known, and the only way I ever got through
losing her was knowing that she loved God and would be
"going home" when she passed. I consider her my guardian angel, and even
though she didn't get to see Hunter and Madison while she was alive,
I know she watches over them, and all of us.
