Spring 2006
For our newest challenge,
write what Springtime means to you
in any form that you choose to use.
The first line must contain the words:
spring, flowers, hope.
Somewhere in the piece these words should be used:
birds, youth, season, lovers, yesterday.
Spring, another fresh beginning,
A time for flowers to bloom,
Hope to fill hearts and dreams,
Sunshine to brighten a dreary room.
Birds return from southern flight,
Youth enjoys outdoor freedom and play,
Seniors feel less aching in their joints,
Wasn't winter just here yesterday?
Spring, the season for lovers,
A time for passion to fill the air,
Weddings renew our faith in love,
Making memories for all to share.

March 2006
Take these words and be creative.
Turn them into a story,
a poem or even a puzzle...
Leprechaun
Green beer
Blarney stone
Gold
Shamrock
Music
All words must be used in your endeavor!
St. Patrick's Day
Did you spot the teeny Leprechaun,
Dancing a jig behind the Blarney Stone?
He's waiting for a pot of gold to appear,
Getting into mischief while on his own.
He looks for people not dressed in green,
Drinking beer and having good old Irish fun.
Naughty pinches to the ladies behinds,
Keep all of them dancing and on the run.
If you find a four-leafed shamrock,
It's known to bring the Irish good luck.
But if you interrupt the Leprechaun's music,
You'd best be prepared to duck!
Music, green beer and laughter,
Can all be found on St. Patrick's Day.
I have some Irish heritage myself,
I've have it no other way!
