Spring 2006
For our newest challenge,
write what Springtime means to you
in any form that you choose to use.
The first line must contain the words:
spring, flowers, hope.
Somewhere in the piece these words should be used:
birds, youth, season, lovers, yesterday.
Spring brings hope of flowers all abloom
Birds in birdbaths chirping for more room.
Grandma always loved this season
Seeing all God's beauty was the reason.
Grandma had many a tradition
And, Grandpa loved his fishin'.
It seems just like yesterday I saw them walking
Hand in hand like lovers without talking.
Their youth was in the past
Yet their love held true and fast.

March 2006
Take these words and be creative.
Turn them into a story,
a poem or even a puzzle...
Leprechaun
Green beer
Blarney stone
Gold
Shamrock
Music
All words must be used in your endeavor!
I have a leprechaun of my very own
You'll find him lurking near the blarney stone
Searching for a shamrock just for me
And dancing round a distant tree
He loves music and drinking green beer
Being drunk is his greatest fear
You see drinking makes him rather bold
Cause the little stinker stole my gold.
