Missy became a Sunshine Girl
when her previous owner, Kelli,
could no longer provide her a home.
Kelli's a customer where Ruthi works
and Ruthi had no problem
takin' over as my new owner!
So, in the summer o' 2005
Kelli brought me to the bar
and handed me over to Ruthi's care.
Since then I've been given
a lovely new home, a 55 gallon tank,
which I feel is like havin' my own private lake!

Father's Day weekend 2006
At a fundraiser where my owner works,
the poster below was auctioned.
Steve got it for Ruthi
at a whoppin' price of $200!
Nutso!!!
But I thank him,
as do the recipients o' the funds raised!
The poster now hangs above my tank...
Note about my poster...
When momma had to move in 2007,
Nathan helped with all the furniture.
Since he'd bid on my poster at the fundraiser,
and also bid on & purchased 2 others in the Guiness set,
Momma gave him my poster for his movin' assistance.
Nathan's set is now complete!
(Besides, Steve's no longer around, so why keep the memory around?)
February 2007 - a new treat!
I ate my 1st guppy!
There's now a feeder fish tank
set up just for treats for me!
It was fun as well as exercise
to chase these li'l critters around!
And the pleasant surprise at the catch
bein' quite tasty!
