Happy 7th Birthday Tidbit! My precious Tidbit, my Little One, Straight from the heavens you came to be. The day o' thy birth was a gift o' the sun Now for seven long years you've been with me. I celebrate your existence with the world Just about ev'ry chance that I get, For you are the closest thing to a sunshine girl That a livin' creature on this earth can get. You've done so much for the spirit o' my soul As we've traveled these years pretty much side by side. Without you I think life may have taken its toll But because o' you I had reason to not run away nor hide. O'er the years you've given me such pleasure Watchin' you play the roles given those in the wild. You've shared with me uncountable treasures Best of all, the present o' Scratch, your first child. As if that weren't enough for you to give unto me Your unconditional love would grant me another gift. A token o' new beginnings, your sweet daughter NewBe, In her birth you gave my spirit a much needed lift. You've stood between me and a fate o' near death When I should have been guardian o'er you dear gal. You nursed my aching heart back to good health Provin' ever and always you would be my best pal. This, too, shall pass, I thought and we finally did it With the help o' cyber friends and some family to boot. I want you to know that it was you my sweet Tidbit That gave me what I truly needed to really give a hoot.
