The blessings o’ friendship
are shared each day
As a bit o’ sunshine glows
radiant o’er the dismal gray!
Camaraderie is built upon
mutual respect ‘n’ trust
With courtesy ‘n’ pleasantness
a relationship must.
We shan’t permit unkindness
our kinship to dust
I fear it may cause esprit de
corps to go bust.
The blessings o’ friendship
are nurtured each day
As a bit o’ sunshine bumps the
blues right out o’ the way!
Companionship cannot thrive on
jealousy nor on lust
By more giving than taking
fellowship reigns true ‘n’
just.
Friendliness ‘n’ congeniality
cannot be allowed to rust
Alas! The brotherhood would be
blown asunder in a gust.
The blessings o’ friendship
are granted each day
As a bit o’ sunshine spreads
warmth upon us in a ray!

"Personally, I believe that friendship should be
a common bond that is shared between people.
A bond that honors commitment, trust, and love for one's peers.
I can't really explain it, but I believe that friends are one of
God's many blessings on the Human Race."
