Spring Floral

Spring Is here and my floral garden beckons to me:
I weed out the flower beds, and plant new seeds.
Black Eyed Susans, Sunflowers and Sweet peas.


The rain has soaked the dry earth and now
the flowers begin to grow:
Soon I have a floral Painting to admire between my toes.


The lovely flowers attract butterflies and bees who come to visit
Gathering nectar in the sun.

I lay in the shade in my hammock and tell myself
Congratulations! a job well done.
